Kayla works primarily with children, though has worked with individuals across the lifespan. She has training in DC:0-5™ and holds her Registered Play Therapist (RPT) certification, allowing her the ability to work effectively with the early childhood population.
She uses a warm and integrative approach with her focus largely in play therapy, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy. These modalities are strengthened as she draws from both developmental and attachment perspectives. Her goal is to join with her clients and to meet them where they are at in order to provide them with a safe, non-judgmental environment in which to develop a therapeutic relationship that will facilitate exploration, growth, and healing.
