Katie earned her Bachelor’s Degree at Metro State University & her Masters at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2017. Katie completed her 9 month practicum at the Safety Center, working with dual diagnosed clients with sexually dangerous behaviors.

Katie is no stranger to adversity, having experienced her fair share of divorce, neurodiversity, single parenting, alcoholism and addiction in loved ones that she’s felt has helped her to work from a place of compassion, understanding, and non judgment.

Katie loves her family, her career, her dog Val that will say hi from time to time, and George RR Martin.
