Annie Xiong
She/Her/Hers
Annie believes that each person is unique and that the best way to help them is to find the therapy approach that is most suited to their individual needs and where they currently are in life. Annie takes a collaborative approach to therapy, which means that she works with her clients to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to their specific needs. She believes that the most important part of therapy is creating a safe and supportive environment where her clients can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. Annie also believes that it is important to help her clients develop coping skills and strategies for managing their emotions and challenges.
Annie is a Post-Master’s clinician working toward her LPCC licensure under Tricia Schulte. Her work in CBT, Person-centered, and Adlerian therapy focuses on how our childhood experiences impact current functioning. Humans develop coping skills, thought patterns and behaviors that once served us in the past, but may no longer be helping us. Together in therapy, you will work together to foster a comforting, safe, and trusting environment to foster healing.
