Terri Bly
She/Her/Hers
Terri is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience. She encourages her clients to pursue an intentional, values-driven life, while helping them discover the tools they need to overcome obstacles that arise along the way. Trained in EMDR, Terri takes a trauma-informed approach when working with clients who feel stuck in the past and want to stop getting triggered in the present. Terri also incorporates mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy into her practice, while maintaining a strengths-based perspective. A firm believer in the mind-body connection to health, Terri also helps clients implement lifestyle changes so they can feel and function better (translation: she is going to ask you about sleep, stress, diet and movement, probably more than once).
Terri works with adolescents (13+) and adults, individuals and couples, and has experience with a wide range of issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, grief and loss, coping with physical health problems, parenting, marital/relationship difficulties, divorce and co-parenting.
With a background in theater and writing, Terri also enjoys finding creative ways to educate the public about mental health topics, so don’t be surprised if you see her name on the occasional blog post, YouTube video or podcast.
In her free time, Terri managed to get sucked into the pickleball craze, but also enjoys singing, baking, reading, going to the movies, and traveling the world as much as time and budget allow.
