Not Accepting New Clients
Sam firmly believes that individuals are always in the process of becoming, continually shaped by their thoughts, emotions, actions, and surroundings. Recognizing that growth encompasses both positive transformation as well as profound loss, she employs a relational, humanistic, and narrative approach to move clients toward wellness. She is committed to dismantling barriers to authenticity and connection, especially for those navigating or aspiring to live counter-culturally.
Transitioning to psychotherapy after a long tenure in the arts, Sam brings an artist's paradigm of thinking and relating to her practice. She works holistically with folks who are navigating sadness and confusion as well as issues related to personal finances, relationship challenges, LGBTQIA+ concerns, open relationships and non-monogamy, identity development, spiritual exploration, stress/anxiety, and phase of life transitions.
Sam lives in Minneapolis and is a big fan of walking the lake, yummy aesthetics, yoga, radical art, and intentionally living with zest. She provides individual and couples psychotherapy under the licensed supervision of LynAnne Evenson, MA, LMFT, LADC, ECSP. She earned her master's degree in counseling and psychological services at Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
