Sabrina strives to provide a warm and validating environment for clients to share their current struggles, and she approaches therapy with empathy and open-mindedness. She uses a collaborative, person-centered approach to support clients in their growth and healing. She approaches counseling with the belief that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors work together to contribute to our mental health. Exploring these patterns, and from where they may be rooted, can help foster greater understanding of self and provide a path toward a better quality of life.
Sabrina utilizes an integrative approach to counseling that incorporates multiple therapeutic lenses and attunes to each individual's unique experience. Her integrative approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), strengths-based therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. Sabrina provides therapy services for adults, and some of her areas of interest are anxiety, depression, relationship and interpersonal issues, ADHD, life stage transitions, body image, mindfulness, and stress management.
Sabrina graduated from Saint Mary's University with an MA in Counseling and Psychological Services. Sabrina is working under the licensed supervision of Ann Kellogg, MS, LPCC while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
Outside of work, Sabrina enjoys spending time with her friends and family, taking walks around the lakes, tending to her plants and flowers, exploring new places in the cities, cooking, reading, crafting, and traveling. She is passionate about spending time growing connections with others and finding humor and joy in the small things.
