Rachel Myers
She/They
Rachel is a pre-licensed therapist who is working under supervision, while pursuing clinical licensure as a licensed professional clinical counselor. Rachel has a background in working with clients who have eating disorders, body image concerns, marginalized identities, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and neurodivergence. With a deep respect for the emotional wisdom each client carries, Rachel creates a compassionate and collaborative space to explore the intersections of identity, relationships, and inner experience. Rachel’s work is grounded in the belief that healing must consider both personal and systemic contexts, and that healing comes from community and from within.
Rachel’s theoretical orientation focuses on implementing a non-judgmental approach by using dialectics, emotion-focused work, dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, feminist theory, acceptance and commitment therapy, and internal family systems. Rachel enjoys working with clients 12 years and older who are struggling with anxiety, life adjustments and transitions, perfectionism, body image, eating disorders, identity, and more. Rachel has a particular interest in working with clients who identify as LGBTQ+ and are seeking gender affirming care.
Rachel is working under the licensed supervision of Erica Nesvig, MA, LPCC while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
