Nancy Soles
She/Her/Hers
Nancy is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the State of MN (since 2002). She is a certified DBT Therapist, a certified Evidence-Based Trauma Therapist, with specialties in treating Eating Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, and Depression. Nancy treats Individuals, Couples, and Families.
Nancy’s therapeutic approach is rooted in equitable treatment, inclusiveness, and mutual respect for all clients and families, focusing on the belief that everyone deserves to feel that they are important and that they matter. As an Adlerian trained therapist, her work is rooted in the need to understand individuals within their social context; in the conviction that individuals experience the highest measure of positive mental health functioning through connection with others; and in the willingness one has to contribute to the betterment and welfare of others in society.
Her career started by working with families in crisis, including family violence, neglect, substance abuse, poverty, and dissolution. Nancy then helped to develop dual-focused programming, (substance abuse and mental health) within hospital-based treatment centers. In 2007, she began focusing more on the treatment of Eating Disorders, while also continuing her work with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, ADHD diagnoses, and post traumatic stress disorders.
