Now Accepting New Clients
Dr. Meishon Behboudi creates a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients can explore, grow, and heal. She believes in empowering individuals by honoring their strengths and meeting them where they are at on their journey. Through an integrated relational, trauma-informed approach, and the thoughtful use of humor, Meishon helps clients navigate the challenges that bring them into therapy by fostering resilience and self-discovery. She also incorporates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and emphasizes the mind-body connection in her therapeutic work, helping clients develop greater self-awareness and emotional balance as they work towards meaningful change.
Meishon has experience working with various diverse communities, including the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC populations, and is committed to providing culturally responsive care that respects and affirms each client’s identity and lived experience. She is passionate about working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, OCD/hoarding, trauma/PTSD, grief and loss, and major life transitions. Meishon believes that the therapeutic process is a collaborative one, rooted in trust and mutual respect, where clients are the experts of their own lives.
Meishon identifies as biracial, White, and Middle Eastern (MENA) as her father immigrated to the United States from Iran. While identifying as biracial, Meishon also acknowledges that she is white-passing which affords her unearned privileges. Meishon has a passion for working with clients from all walks of life and is strongly interested in working with clients who are biracial/bicultural and trying to navigate feelings of the Racial Imposter Phenomenon.
