Now Accepting New Clients
Lauren is a pre-licensed mental health practitioner who offers person-centered and solution-oriented therapy that centers the client and their goals. In order to support the navigation of life’s complexities, Lauren prioritizes tailoring therapy to each client’s individual needs while using humor and authenticity to cultivate a journey of healing within the therapy office and beyond. Combining solution-oriented and person-centered therapy with modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) supports growth by empowering clients to develop different thinking patterns and coping strategies.
Lauren enjoys working with adults with ADHD, whether they received their diagnosis in childhood or adulthood. Having personal experience with a missed ADHD diagnosis, Lauren can empathize deeply with those who also received a diagnosis later in life. Lauren is also enthusiastic about working with individuals struggling with sexual health concerns, sexual and gender identity, sexual trauma, and how these issues interact with relationships. Lauren also works with individuals looking to improve their relationship with their body and manage life transitions and development into young adulthood.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is currently practicing under the supervision of Tom Hegblom, Ph.D., LPCC, LADC, and is on track to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
