Lauren Belisle
She/Her/Hers
Lauren graduated with a masters in Psychology and Art Therapy from Adler Graduate School and is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She utilizes a variety of therapeutic tools in sessions including narrative, somatics, breath work, art and creative expression. She is passionate about offering gentle and trauma-informed care with a social justice lens, and a compassionate normalization of your lived experiences.
Lauren believes therapy is a time to sit with the uncomfortable, the unknown, and holds space for clients to have empowered self-reflection about their patterns and past experiences. She gently offers alternative perspectives or challenge questions, while holding a mirror to the beautiful qualities and skills each client already holds within them. Together with a client, Lauren works to create goals and check-ins that reflect a client’s desired changes and offers coping skills and techniques to help along their unique journey.
Lauren knows that mental health can be overwhelming, and offers a safe space where the client knows that they are in charge of their own healing journey - the pace and the destination. She is honored to be on this journey with you.
Lauren is working under the licensed supervision of LynAnne Evenson, LMFT, LADC, ECSP while she pursues clinical licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
