Krista Costin
she/her/hers
Community and connection are two of Krista's main values as a human and mental health provider: we can't do life alone. We heal in the context of our relationships: with ourselves, our partners, our families, and our communities. Krista will support you every step of the way as you embark upon your therapy journey. She infuses warmth, compassion, and humor into sessions for individuals, couples, and families for concerns regarding depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, and identity.
As a yoga and mindfulness teacher for over a decade, Krista brings this background into sessions, offering a holistic, experiential style that meets you where you're at. As a professional musician, Krista weaves inspiration from the arts and the natural world into her work, encouraging self-expression as a pathway to openness and the alignment with Self in therapy. Though born and raised in Minnesota, she doesn’t talk “Minnesota nice”. . . expect her to be direct and real with you. As an LGBTQ+ identifying provider, Krista welcomes clients of all genders and sexual orientations.
Krista is a graduate intern from Saint Mary’s University, working under the licensed supervision of Kelly Heagle, LMFT, RPT.
