Joanna is board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She is trained to evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental health illnesses through medications management and/or psychotherapy. She provides services in Spanish and English.

Joanna takes pride in listening to people’s stories and learning who they are as an individual, not just the symptoms that brought them in to meet with her. She is committed to utilizing culturally competent, person-centered, holistic, trauma-informed approach to treat clients. Her goal is to develop a trusting relationship with clients so that clients can actively participate in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan that fits their needs.
