Jamie Hermes
She/Her/Hers
Jamie is a therapist who helps adults of all ages slow down, reconnect with themselves, and move through life with more clarity and self-trust. She works especially well with people who may appear to be holding it all together on the outside—but inside, feel anxious, stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next.
Warm, curious, and down-to-earth, Jamie creates a space where clients feel safe, heard, and truly seen. She asks thoughtful questions, helps people identify what matters most, and supports them in setting small, values-aligned goals—celebrating progress along the way. Her approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in real life.
Jamie works with clients from many walks of life, including college students, early-career professionals, individuals exploring career shifts, and women navigating midlife transitions. Many of her clients come to therapy feeling ready for change, but unsure where to begin. Whether navigating anxiety, depression, perfectionism, burnout, or major life transitions, Jamie supports clients in shifting unhelpful patterns and building more sustainable ways of coping.
In addition to helping clients feel more grounded and confident, she supports the development of concrete life skills—like setting boundaries, improving communication, and navigating conflict with more ease. Jamie brings a trauma-informed lens to her work, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
With a background in human-centered design and change management, Jamie approaches therapy with creativity, flexibility, and a deep respect for each client’s unique path. Her goal is to help people feel more connected to themselves and empowered to make meaningful changes.
Outside of therapy, Jamie enjoys hiking with her dog, reading a good novel, and spending time with her husband and three daughters. She values compassion, humor, and honest reflection—and brings those qualities into her work.
Jamie is currently working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor under the supervision of Erica Johnson, MA, LPCC.
