As a Marriage and Family Therapist intern, Grace works with families, couples, and individuals and provides support and insight for all involved. Being adopted has given Grace a unique passion for working with anyone from uncommon family backgrounds and environments. She is drawn to working with couples through Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help them work together to understand the core of their relationship. Her motivation is to help couples work on listening to their partner’s perspective and to learn continual skills to improve their relationship. Beyond that, she understands how much family can strongly impact development and the way that we view the world, which is why she also believes in working within the realms of Family Systems Theory and Narrative Therapy when working with families and I do usuals alike. Both get to the heart of each individual's stories, as well as focus on how to best work together toward their areas of growth and therapeutic goals.
In her free time, Grace likes to read, spend time with her friends, and dote on her pets. She is inspired by listening to other people’s passions, finding moments of peace throughout the day, and learning about the world.
Grace is under the supervision of Christina Jobelius, LMFT.
