Carina aims to create a warm, affirming, and nurturing space where clients of diverse backgrounds feel welcome. She is focused on helping clients develop self-compassion and self-awareness. She prioritizes identifying and making strides towards each client’s version of a meaningful life.

Carina is currently accepting adult (18+) clients. She works with issues such as anxiety, depression, chronic stress, and life transitions. In her past work experience, Carina worked with parents of neurodiverse children and individuals from the local immigrant communities. She is looking forward to expanding her work in these areas as a mental health counselor. She is also passionate about Asian American mental health.

Carina is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling within the Counselor Education program. She is a professional counseling intern working under the supervision of Dr. Tom Hegblom, Ph.D, LPCC, LADC.
