Angelica Walton
She/Her/Hers- They/Them/Theirs
Understanding the whole complex self as a field or network of naturally occurring and communicating biological energies which are experienced physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually can help to support how we feel, heal, and thrive in harmony with our whole selves and other living systems. Integrating routine practices that support health, function, and movement of the energetic body can enhance not only our physical experience but our deeper sense of connection and relationship to self, others, and the planet. Angelica’s goal is to work alongside you to share in the experience of healing through the art of Reiki, energetic health support, and education. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Integrative Health, Certified Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Master, and Registered Hatha Yoga Teacher, she has utilized her multicultural studies in energetic health and healing techniques for the support of diverse health concerns, prevention, and maintenance. Reiki is a minimally invasive Japanese based energy healing therapy which integrates and pairs well with other therapies and interventions by supporting balance and harmony of the body's systems.
Energy Therapies (also known as Biofield Therapies) can often help with regulation of the nervous system, reduction in stress, feelings of anxiousness, as well as with the support of chronic physical, mental, and or emotional pains and traumas. The Japanese art of Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki is a gentle healing technique most often involving light touch through various hand position/placements along the body's energy pathways. Your session with Angelica involves an integrative and trauma informed approach which begins with intention setting (if any), relaxation through breath guidance, energetic health support through Reiki, followed by a client driven discussion, review of identified energetic needs or goals, and the co-development of an energetic health maintenance plan.
