Amy is an experienced and compassionate therapist with expertise in adolescent and adult mental health. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of St. Thomas and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW.) She has been providing therapy since 2004 and specializes in dual disorders, men’s mental health, mood disorders, chemical dependency, psychedelic assisted psychotherapy, and integrative therapies. Amy provides individual therapy for people who are often struggling with managing their emotions, stress, and relationships.
She provides a safe, judgement-free, and supportive environment where clients feel heard and experience healing, hope, and empowerment. She believes in using eastern and western modalities to help people manage difficult situations and emotions. She often uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), elements of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and mindfulness, with a focus on learning new and healthier ways to cope. Amy helps people to be the best versions of themselves and to create a life with more joy in their lives.
Amy is also a Ketamine Assisted Therapist and provides this service to eligible LynLake clients through our partnership with Institute for Integrative Therapies (IIT). Learn more at www.iit-mn.com or reach out to email@example.com.
