Amili Spaeth
She/They
Amili (pronounced “ama-lee”) is a graduate of St. Catherine University’s Master of Social Work program with five years of experience in clinical and community-based settings. Amili is a queer-identified, pre-licensed therapist who practices from an anti-oppressive, relational, and holistic perspective.
Committed to understanding and addressing the social contexts and systemic oppression that shape everyday life, Amili supports individuals through grief and ambiguous loss, queer identity exploration, substance use, relationship dynamics—including ethical non-monogamous, polyamorous, or open-relationship structures—anxiety disorders, and OCD and related disorders. Amili is well-versed in and passionate about supporting the unique experiences of queer and trans folx and those with ADHD-related expressions or challenges.
Guided by a belief in connection and collaboration, Amili works in partnership with individuals from a place of curiosity, presence, and compassion. With a trauma- and attachment- informed approach, Amili tailors therapy to each client utilizing components of mindfulness, storytelling, parts-work, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. By blending a somatic approach with cognitive and emotional frameworks, Amili aims to enhance mind-body-spirit connection, and create spaces where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal.
Amili is working under the licensed supervision of Tricia Schulte, MSW, LICSW while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
