Amili (pronounced “Ama-Lee”) is a queer-identified therapist with six years of experience in clinical and community-based settings. She works from an integrative, relational, client-centered approach rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration.
Amili supports people navigating anxiety, OCD, grief and ambiguous loss, queer identity, neurodiversity, interpersonal relationships, and substance use while maintaining a commitment to addressing both personal and systemic sources of distress. She offers affirming care for queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients and is competent in ENM and other non-traditional relationship styles. Amili has specific training in tending to the challenges faced by folks with ADHD (including those late-diagnosed) and is passionate about supporting neurodiverse clients address experiences like masking, overwhelm, perfectionism, internalized stigma, and shame.
Amilis work is trauma- and attachment-informed while drawing from somatic practices, narrative therapy, parts work, mindfulness-based approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. By integrating somatic practices with cognitive and emotional frameworks, she seeks to strengthen the mind-body-spirit connection, deepen self-understanding and compassion, and empower individuals to build resilience and liberation within their unique life story.
Amili is working under the licensed supervision of, MSW, LICSW while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
