Amili (pronounced “Ama-Lee”) is a queer-identified therapist with six years of experience in clinical and community-based settings. She works from an integrative, relational approach rooted in curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, attending to both personal and systemic sources of distress in work with clients.
Amili supports people navigating anxiety, OCD, grief and ambiguous loss, queer identity, ADHD, interpersonal relationships, and substance use or abuse. Amili offers affirming care for queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients and is competent in ENM and other non-traditional relationship styles.
Amili has specific training in tending to the challenges faced by folks with ADHD (including those undiagnosed or late-diagnosed) and is passionate about supporting neurodivergent clients address experiences like masking, overwhelm, perfectionism, internalized stigma, and shame.
Amili’s work is trauma- and attachment-informed while drawing from body-based practices, parts work, mindfulness-based approaches, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). By integrating somatic practices with cognitive and emotional frameworks, Amili seeks to deepen self-understanding and compassion as well as empower individuals to build resilience and liberation within their own unique life stories.
Amili is working under the licensed supervision of Tricia Schulte, MSW, LICSW while pursuing clinical licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
