Alena Rakitina
She/Her/Hers
NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS
People who have worked with Alena described her as warm, compassionate, easy to talk to, empathetic, and reliable. Alena helps people explore their relationships with themselves and others. She sees her role as someone who can provide a different perspective, brainstorm solutions, and challenge your irrational beliefs while keeping in mind your ultimate goals.
Alena practices a solution-focused model that reminds a person of their strengths. Alena has a background working with adolescents, adults, and couples. Alena has experience working with trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, identity and marital issues.
She also believes in a relational approach to therapy, which teaches that all parts of a person’s life are deeply intertwined. Our family, community, and peers shape our personality; understanding who and what drives our decision-making is the first step in changing unwanted patterns.
Alena is working under the licensed supervision of Erica Johnson, LPCC while she pursues clinical licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor.
