Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

This continuing education workshop provides mental health clinicians with a clear, practice-focused understanding of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and its role in modern psychiatric care. Participants will learn how TMS works, what conditions it treats, how to identify appropriate candidates, and how therapists can collaborate effectively with TMS providers throughout the course of treatment. Emphasis is placed on demystifying technical aspects, integrating TMS with psychotherapy, and preparing clients for what to expect before, during, and after treatment. Practical cases, demonstrations, and real-world patient scenarios will equip clinicians with the knowledge needed to confidently discuss and support TMS as part of a comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plan.
