Heather MacLeod
She/Her/Hers
Heather’s goal is to provide caring, affirming support to clients as they navigate challenges. These may include work-related issues, stress management, anger management, communication skills, family dynamics, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, and other mental health concerns.
Heather’s dog, Harper, comes to the office most days. Harper is a very calm dog whose primary skills include snuggling under blankets and snoring. She often enjoys sleeping next to clients on the office sofa. For clients who prefer not to be near a dog during their session, there are designated chairs where Harper is not allowed.
Heather is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the States of Minnesota and Alabama, as well as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) and a Certified Care Manager (CCM). In addition to individual therapy, Heather supports organizations through management consultation, organizational training, leadership coaching, and critical incident stress management.
Reaching out to a new therapist can be difficult, but Heather strives to create a welcoming, comfortable environment for every client.
