She works with adults, employing an approach that acknowledges the impact of broader systemic factors on personal well-being. Jane is passionate about helping clients recognize their inner wisdom as they navigate their process of self-discovery. She welcomes individuals wanting to address a wide array of mental health challenges, including substance use and addiction, anxiety, depression, and relationship difficulties. She strives to provide a comprehensive and compassionate understanding of each client's unique situation.

Drawing from a humanistic, holistic, and integrative perspective, Jane tailors her therapeutic approach to the specific needs, history, and goals of each client. With 12 years of experience working with diverse and vulnerable adults navigating significant mental health challenges, Jane has cultivated a deep respect for cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and the importance of meeting clients where they are.

Jane utilizes a trauma-informed and attachment-based lens alongside modalities such as Client-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. She uses Emotion-Focused Therapy to explore and strengthen relationship dynamics, and Internal Family Systems for cultivating internal balance and healing. Jane also incorporates elements of CBT and DBT into sessions when they align with a client's individual needs and goals.

Having a personal understanding of the complexities of addiction and identifying as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, Jane is deeply committed to providing safe, affirming, and inclusive care for all individuals. She also enjoys working with those in diverse relationship styles, including polyamorous and non-monogamous relationships. She values open communication, and directness, and often integrates humor and psychoeducation to facilitate insight and growth in the therapeutic process.”

Jane is working under the licensed supervision of Maggie Skrypek, MSW, MPP, LICSW while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Independence Clinical Social Worker.
