Brandon Miranda
He/Him/His
Brandon has taken several turns on his career path to become a therapist. His lived experience gives him a unique perspective that allows him to help others navigate their journey in an expansive and nonjudgmental environment. He is a firm believer that the client is the keeper of their own narrative and his therapeutic approach seeks to draw that story out to allow it to be heard and witnessed.
He works with clients of all ages and has a special interest in working with LGBTQIA+ families, couples, polyamorous relationships, and relationships of all kinds. He has particular experiences with matters of faith/spirituality, religious deconstruction, sex/sexuality, gender expression, racial and cultural identities, and effective communication. Brandon defines himself as a relational therapist, which means he believes people are influenced and shaped by the world, and culture(s) around them. This guides his work to incorporate the person and all the influences surrounding them to find a path forward into a place that feels more authentic to them.
Brandon graduated from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota with an M.A. in marriage and family therapy, and is working under the licensed supervision of Katherine Snell, M.A., LMFT.
