Lucy approaches therapy with the understanding that people are made up of many parts, and that integrating these parts generates a deeper recognition of each individual and their experiences as innately human. She values a holistic and person-centered approach to support the authenticity and resiliency of each person and their worldview. Lucy is passionate about empowering others in cultivating an understanding and awareness of their unique perspective and experiences, and views this as central to the therapeutic process. She strives to support clients in developing a greater understanding of self in order to access healthy and adaptive responses to life circumstances, situations, and relationships.
Lucy offers individual therapy for adults and adolescents through a collaborative and systemic lens to meet each individual where they are at. Lucy has experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief/loss, relationship issues, attachment difficulties, and adjustment issues due to trauma or transition. She utilizes an integrative approach based on client need, and draws on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and attachment theories.
