Kris Frazier
She/Her/Hers
Now Accepting New Clients
Kris provides a safe, accepting, and supportive space for clients to process their life experiences. She enjoys helping people develop self-worth and self-efficacy so they can feel empowered to live more fulfilling lives. She is passionate about helping clients change the narrative of their past so they are enabled to create a new ending to their life story.
Kris is a quirky and casual therapist who embraces humor during sessions. Her theoretical orientation is person-centered, relational-cultural, feminist, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, and mindfulness-based. She is an EMDR-trained therapist who implements interventions that reconnect and strengthen the neurological wiring between the thinking and feeling parts of the brain, easing distressing mental health symptoms.
Kris earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and a graduate level certificate in addiction studies from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Kris is working toward completion of supervised practice to become a dually licensed psychotherapist. She works under the supervision of Ann Kellogg, MA, LPCC.
When Kris isn’t working with clients, she enjoys listening to therapy books, butchering the guitar and French language, gardening, bird watching, and hanging out with her husband and their menagerie of rescue pups.
