Breanne Kwatera
She/Her/Hers
Bre is passionate about demystifying the process of psychotherapy. She strives to provide a warm, empathic space to explore oneself with curiosity, compassion, and humor. Asking for support to understand one’s experience of themselves, the world, and relationship is a deeply vulnerable task and one that Bre understands personally. The foundation of Bre’s professional “work” involves doing her own personal “work” that she considers essential in connection with others, including in her role as the therapist.
Bre believes that every individual carries a unique experience of the world that is specific to one’s culture, context, and lived experience. She prioritizes and appreciates transparency, collaboration, and direct feedback in her sessions and believes that her clients are the true guides to their lives. Her goal is to partner with folks in understanding and knowing their authenticity, identifying what “gets in the way,” exploring what is, and empowering them to find the path forward that is unique to their truth.
Bre received her Bachelor of Science in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota and her Master of Arts in Addiction Studies from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies. She is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
