Tracie brings a wealth of professional, educational and life experience to her work with people aged 18-90+ facing the challenges and transitions of life. She provides caring and personalized therapeutic support for those navigating health, relationship, professional, identity, and grief issues.
Tracie has a strengths-based, person-centered orientation incorporating elements of mindfulness, narrative, solution-focused, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Her personal experience supporting the journeys of both the very young, as well as the older adults in her life, along with years of professional work in corporate settings allows Tracie to meet people at the intersection of compassion, intelligence, training and experience.
She endeavors to meet the unique needs of clients of all backgrounds and identities, inclusive of diversity in sex, age, race, ethnicity, and national origin, range of abilities, sexual orientation, gender identity, education and political perspective through her creative and empathetic therapeutic approach.
Tracie's educational background includes a BA in Psychology, an MBA, a career development certification and a Master of Social Work. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, time with family and friends, and the thrill of accomplishing home improvement projects.
Supervision Statement: She is working under the licensed supervision of Amy Mellum, MSW, LICSW, while pursuing clinical licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker.
