Sharon’s intention is to provide a safe, supportive environment within the therapeutic relationship. Her philosophy is strengths-based and holistic: she believes people have the capacity for resilience, creativity and resourcefulness. Her role is to help her clients get to that place of knowing this for themselves so they can move forward in their lives and thrive.
She is trained in mindfulness-based-stress reduction, and is a Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach who has worked with a wide range of people on improving self-care and creating lifestyle habits that support their mental health. Currently, she works with adults 18+. Sharon weaves in a coaching approach with her clients. In addition, she utilizes mindfulness and body-oriented strategies to help clients accept all parts of themselves including intense emotions and inner experiences--no matter how challenging with tenderness and self-compassion.
