Katherine Bowman
She/Her/Hers
Not Accepting New Clients
Katherine offers therapy for adults and couples, drawing on her ongoing psychodynamic training through the Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute. Her goal is to create a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and understood—where you can reflect, grow, and move forward with a greater sense of purpose and empowerment.
She believes that many of our present-day struggles are connected to unconscious patterns and early life experiences. Through psychodynamic exploration, she helps clients uncover these hidden dynamics, gain insight into their emotional lives, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. She also firmly believes that every individual possesses unique strengths, resilience, and potential. Together, you two will identify and harness these resources to overcome difficulties, empowering you to face challenges with confidence and build a fulfilling, purposeful life.
In therapy with Katherine, you’ll find a collaborative and supportive environment where your story matters. She is committed to understanding your experiences in their complexity, working at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re seeking deeper self-awareness, navigating a life transition, or working through anxiety, depression, or relationship issues, we’ll work together to foster positive change and lasting transformation.
She hold a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and am working under the supervision of Patricia Katie Murray, Psy.D., LP.
