Kaila takes a non-judgmental approach during the therapeutic process and maintains a safe and supportive environment. She is adept at working with people who come from a variety of backgrounds. She assists clients with identifying their strengths, successes, and accomplishments during the therapeutic process and is passionate about working with clients and how to help them work towards their long-term goals.
Kaila works with clients and helps them to be mindful in the present moment, utilize healthy coping skills during times of distress, regulate emotions, and teach individuals how to build and maintain healthy relationships with themselves and others. Some interventions that Kaila utilizes in therapy are DBT, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducation.
