Christine Thompson
She/Her/Hers
Christine works with individuals 18 and older who are looking for someone to aid them on their journey to being (and appreciating) their authentic, true self. Whether it’s working through relationship struggles, navigating difficult life transitions, or finding balance between multiple life roles, Christine provides a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel heard and empowered through the process.
She operates from a client-centered, relational, strength based approach and believes a strong client-therapist relationship is the key to a successful therapy experience. She integrates elements of multiple theories and modalities such as Attachment theory, Internal Family Systems theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. Christine is sex-positive, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and works with individuals in various relationship dynamics including ethical non-monogamy (ENM) and BDSM/Kink.
Christine is working under the licensed supervision of Jillian Chmiel, MSW, LICSW while she completes her graduate internship program.
