Brittan’s previous experience includes working in higher levels of care at an eating disorder treatment facility. This work also provided experience working with related challenges including depression, anxiety, diabetes, sensory issues, bariatric surgery, weight loss and restoration.
Brittan describes working together as a partnership, one where you feel comfortable letting her know if you feel like we are on the right track or need to make changes to lead to success and meet your goals. She prefers working in an individual setting to truly get to know you and your needs. Brittan recognizes conversations about food or weight may be difficult and works to create a safe and judgment-free space. Brittan has experience disrupting disordered eating behaviors and food choices through prescriptive, intuitive, and mindful eating. She approaches each session with curiosity, humility and compassion through an anti-diet, HAES informed lens.
