Ashley’s therapeutic approach is trauma-aware and conversational, pulling from a variety of methods to help clients better understand themselves, their relationships, and their experiences. Clients value Ashley’s sense of humor, navigating mind-and-body connections, and directed insights. Her goal is to be a supportive ally, guiding clients through life’s challenges while advocating to make meaningful changes through fostering awareness and autonomy. She is committed to curating an honest, sincere, and safe relationship with those she works with.
Ashley is a pre-licensed clinical counselor under supervision, holding a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has experience working in diverse mental health settings, including intensive outpatient programs for substance use, group homes for individuals with assistance needs, and residential treatment for adolescents.
On a personal note, Ashley loves international travel, trying out new recipes, and watching films that bring a good laugh. She treasures moments spent camping, adding to her ever-growing rock collection, and gardening with her partner and their pup. When the Minnesota weather keeps her indoors, she enjoys diving into fantasy novels, hosting board game nights with friends, or challenging herself with a new yoga pose for a reenergizing reset.
Ashley is working under the licensed supervision of Corinne Nechalova, MA, LPCC while she pursues clinical licensure as a Professional Clinical Counselor.
