Annalise Gulstad
She/Her/Hers
Welcome! Annalise is a person-centered counselor who offers individual psychotherapy for adults and teens based on curiosity, humor, creativity, and collaboration. She believes that each person comes with their own blend of knowledge and resiliency that we can use to create a meaningful life.
In sessions together, Annalise will help you explore how personal, relational, and social narratives weave together to create your life experience. She will also support you in finding creative forms of self-care, warmly offer perspective shifts, and help you connect with your emotions, needs, and values. Annalise uses a range of modalities, including trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and insight-oriented interventions.
Annalise often works with folks who have ADHD, who are exploring identity, who experience depression, anxiety, or shame, and who have experienced trauma or find themselves stuck repeating the same patterns in life. Clients have described sessions with Annalise as feeling conversational and curiosity-driven, and she believes it is important to understand why we do what we do to move forward with intention. Annalise encourages you to bring your whole self to therapy!
Annalise is a Licensed Practicing Clinical Counselor and currently works under the supervision of Amber Schneider, LICSW, during the credentialing process with accepted health insurance plans.
