Choosing to seek help when you are walking through challenging chapters of your life is a sign of strength. Annalise believes in the individual resiliency of each person to work through life’s difficulties and cultivate purpose. She works with clients to identify personal strengths to reduce the effects of depression and anxiety, and to improve personal relationships. She incorporates mindfulness and grounding skills, creativity, collaboration, and humor into sessions.
Annalise works with you to create therapy goals that speak to your needs and that work towards improving your overall wellbeing. She warmly identifies unhelpful thought patterns that could be shifted. She uses a trauma aware lens and believes that people use the resources available to them both externally and internally to understand and interact with the world around them. She encourages you to bring your whole self to therapy.
Annalise holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services and is under the supervision of Kate West (MSW, LICSW) while she pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
