Angela is a dietitian whose goal is to help others explore and restore a mindful and personalized relationship with food. She does this via years of experience, education and understanding, by using a whole-person, weight inclusive, body positive lens. Angela encourages people of all identities to seek care, and intentionally invites individuals who are part of marginalized communities and/or identify as BIPOC to reach out for any support needed.
If you choose Angela as your dietitian, she will walk alongside you to help explore your past and present relationship with food, in hopes of improving the future relationship. For her entire career, Angela has been dedicated to working within the eating disorders and mental health fields.
After working in these fields for a few years, Angela decided to complete advanced education in counseling to better understand how trauma can affect the body and brain of individuals who struggle with disordered eating patterns. Working in various levels of eating disorder treatment has given her great exposure to the entire continuum of care. It has also provided her great opportunities to be part of some very collaborative, interdisciplinary teams.
