Being human can be a vulnerable experience that doesn’t always have clear directions or a road map. It can be beautiful, joy-filled, challenging, confusing, simple, complex and sometimes downright painful! We all have a deep desire to thrive in our own unique human expression and to be accepted, valued, and loved fully. Most of us have had experiences or relationships that alter our sense of self and can make relationships, the outside world, and our internal world a confusing, lonely, or unsafe place.
Sarah values your journey and is dedicated to seeing you and being with you as you are while also serving as a support person to help you explore and navigate your experiences. There isn’t always an answer and life is constantly changing. However, it is possible to heal wounds, develop new skills, and increase compassion in a way that can help navigate the complexity of relationships and to move towards feeling empowered in your authentic self.
Sarah often utilizes Transpersonal Psychology theory, Psychosynthesis, Internal Family Systems/Systems theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and mindfulness. She values spirituality, intuition, inner wisdom, and can speak “new age” language with you. She is dedicated to practicing compassion, is LGBTQIA+ affirmative, works with various relationship styles and sexual preferences, and strives to be culturally aware with a social justice lens.
