Kamila is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who takes on a respectful, curious, warm, non-blaming approach, perceiving each client as the expert on their own life. Kamila's goal is to empower each client on the journey towards a healthier and stronger version of themselves.
Kamila has a special interest in women's health as well as Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADS). Her other areas of focus include anxiety, depression, relational stress, work/college stress, family conflict, boundaries, self-worth, perfectionism, trouble coping, life transitions. She is currently working towards advancing her training and knowledge in PMADS as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
She conducts client-centered sessions emphasizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship as one of the main elements of recovery and change. She believes empowering clients to gain hope, healing, self-awareness, insight about self and family can lead to personal growth and self-acceptance.
