Kaitlin Ramsey
She/Her/Hers
Kaitlin’s philosophy of therapy is to walk alongside clients, going at their pace to harness the authentic values that will guide them to their desired changes. Her warm, relational, non-judgmental manner encourages clients to explore, play, and get curious about the most fulfilling parts of their lives and relationships, and also the sites where change or healing will be beneficial. She works from a liberationist, intersectional, justice-oriented framework, and can guide others to connect to their strengths and struggles on individual, family, relationship, and broad societal levels.
She is a sex-positive practitioner eager to partner with clients on their sexual health, sexual identity, and gender identity journeys. This can include self-discovery and self-acceptance, transition, new and established relationships, and loss/grief. She is knowledgeable and adept at working with the LGBTQIA+, kink, polyamory, and neurodivergent communities.
Kaitlin is a Clinical Social Work intern working under the supervision of Jillian Chmiel, MSW, LICSW. She integrates client-centered, trauma-informed, Internal Family Systems, somatic, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy practices. She speaks English and Spanish.
