Caitlin strives to be an inclusive therapist, welcoming those who identify as LGBTQIA+ and supports racial justice in all forms. She uses a collaborative, non-judgmental, and trauma-informed approach and will prioritize what you feel is most important. Caitlin works with adults (18+) on a wide range of concerns.
Caitlin is passionate about working collaboratively with you to uncover your existing strengths, teaching you new skills to add to your current ones, and discovering what recovery means to you. She believes it is important for you to be the guide of your sessions, with her support, to identify the areas in which you want to change and/or improve. Caitlin will teach you tangible skills to help you manage your symptoms more effectively. Caitlin primarily utilizes cognitive behavioral, person-centered, and solution-focused approach. Her clinical interests and expertise include: anxiety, depression, serious and persistent mental illness (SMPI), housing, homelessness, care coordination, and crisis intervention.
Caitlin has a Masters in Social Work from Augsburg University and is an independently licensed clinical social worker (LICSW). Caitlin’s prior experience includes housing and mental health case management, legislative advocacy, and teaching at the graduate level.
