Brad provides therapeutic services to adolescents (15+) and adults. Brad’s main areas of focus are anxiety disorders, mood disorders, existential concerns, addictive behaviors, poverty, a history of incarceration, and housing instability. Brad is also open to incorporating one’s spirituality/faith (whatever that means to them) into therapy.
Brad believes in treating the whole person by using a person-in-environment approach and a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens. This simply means it is important to recognize that an individual exists in society and is impacted by systems, culture, and relationships.
Brad specializes in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). While Brad enjoys working with all types of people, Brad has multiple years of experience working with people who have experienced homelessness, people who have been incarcerated, people struggling with addiction, those living in extreme poverty, those who feel left out by the current structure of society, and individuals who would like to incorporate their spirituality/faith (whatever it may be) into their therapy.
Life is complex, messy, and unpredictable. Therapy can help you learn how to exist and find joy and peace in the midst of all of what life throws your way.
Brad is working under the licensed supervision of Jade Erickson, LICSW, while he pursues clinical licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
